"Global Health and the Internet" Great Panel for Nov 13th

We've got an excellent set of speakers for our November 13th session at the National Press Club (in Washington DC) entitled "Global Health and the Internet: How Can We Save More Lives?"

As in past Web Executive Seminars, we'll have short presentations about each case study and then time for audience Q&A. We also are sure to leave time for audience introductions and networking, which we think is very valuable as the room is full of smart people grappling with similar issues!

This seminar will explore innovative applications of internet services to pressing global health challenges. It's geared to program directors & implementers and global health professionals. Presenters will include representatives from:

Collaborative Drug Discovery, enabling scientists to collaborate on pre-clinical drug discovery chemical and biological data,
HealthMap.org, a Harvard-MIT initiative to compile a real-time view of the current global state of infectious diseases,
NothingButNets.org, the UN Foundation’s anti-malaria campaign and a 2007 Webby Award Winner,
Global Alliance for Nursing and Midwifery, of Johns Hopkins, and
Broadcast HIV Africa, of the Kaiser Family Foundation.
